Bayside Housing is taking an urban infill approach and working to develop a boarding house with six efficiency units that share a common entry while allowing for tenant autonomy and privacy. The boarding house will include an on-site manager. Each unit within the boarding house will meet the requirements for people who use housing vouchers, and be affordable to people without vouchers at the 50% of AMI level. Bayside hopes to develop multiple boarding houses in the future.
You can support this effort by donating or providing a discounted lease on land of 10,000 square feet or greater for a boarding house.
