Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County uses a sweat equity homeownership model to build and sell affordable homes to individuals and families. They are currently building 4-5 homes per year in Port Hadlock and Port Townsend and looking to increase that number. Homebuyers must be below 80% AMI and able to qualify for an affordable, low-interest mortgage.
Habitat is seeking contractors to donate your crew for a day, performing skilled work and helping Habitat get ahead on specific construction tasks. Habitat provides lunch for the crew and all materials, publicity for contractor partners, and a fun way to participate in making a difference for affordable housing.
