Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County uses a sweat equity homeownership model to build and sell affordable homes to individuals and families. They are currently building 4-5 homes per year in Port Hadlock and Port Townsend and looking to increase that number. Homebuyers must be below 80% AMI and able to qualify for an affordable, low-interest mortgage.
Habitat is seeking land for new home construction. Should be zoned for single family residences, located near transit and other services, and accessible to public water. Habitat would like to talk with you about your donated, discounted, or market-priced land in Port Townsend and the Tri-Area.
