Short Story: I taught for 42 years, primarily middle school. My previous school, Jefferson Community School was closed by the pandemic. I write the weekly newsletter for Recovery Cafe. I have a widespread network of friends, former students and their families, and I supported my neighbors during a difficult, stressful time in our neighborhood.
