Short Story: I have lived in Port Townsend for over 22 years and in my current location for over eight. My landlady has asked me to move so she can live in my unit. I have had affordable rent this entire time, and now will have to face the current housing crisis in our county with higher rent. I have always paid my rent on time. I trust there are kind people in our community and I hope to find a safe place to live as a 72-year-old single woman.
