Short Story: I am the daughter of musicians spanning 4 generations back. I moved here with my mom when I was 15, and have been living and working in town for years. I am a skilled musician trying to get out there as I can afford to. I am very happy with my current employment learning to landscape, as well as starting to teach guitar lessons on the side. I have aspirations to start a music school here in town to keep the joy and art of making and connecting through music alive and well. I have lived a very hard life growing up in poverty, and have been recovering from traumatic events for years that left me less than able to function at the same success as others. I rely on kindhearted people that can afford to rent at below market value to people like me who are respectful, responsible, and just doing their best. Affordable housing for me is survival, and means that I can continue to share with this beloved community the music and the medicine that I was put on this Earth to share.
